Description
The Universidad de Montevideo (Uruguay) is seeking candidates for an Assistant Professorship in the field of Finance.
Candidates must demonstrate an interest in and a capacity for conducting high-quality scholarly research. We are looking for a candidate with both a potential for an internationally recognized research track record in leading journals, as well as excellent teaching skills.
A Ph.D. or DBA in Finance or a related area (conferred by August 2026 at the latest) is required, along with evidence of teaching effectiveness and research potential.
Knowledge of Spanish is preferred but not required. Responsibilities include teaching and productivity in research.
Compensation and teaching load will be competitive with other top Latin American academic institutions.
