- Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing
Description
The Frank G. Zarb School of Business is inviting applications for an anticipated tenure-track faculty position in Marketing beginning in the fall of 2026.
Applicants will be considered for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor. Rank is dependent upon the applicant's teaching experience and publication record. We are seeking a candidate whose primary areas of teaching and research are Digital/Social Marketing and/or Advertising. An ideal candidate would also have the ability and desire to teach a variety of marketing courses beyond these areas.
Hofstra University emphasizes excellence in teaching. Candidates will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate marketing courses in both classroom and online settings. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate a commitment to research, resulting in high-quality, peer-reviewed publications.
The university provides excellent support for faculty teaching and research, including access to several research databases. The Zarb School has recently established sophisticated research and teaching-oriented laboratories, including:

Service to the university and the profession is also expected.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ph.D. or D.B.A. with specialization in Marketing and/or related disciplines from an AACSB-accredited business program. ABDs in advanced dissertation stages will be considered for a non-tenure track appointment. Tenure-track status requires a degree in hand by August 2026. Candidates should have the potential for excellent teaching and research.
