- Associate Attorney
Description
We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with exceptional research and writing skills, capable of managing pre-litigation and litigation caseloads. The Associate Attorney will work under the supervision of senior attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting and filing complaints, motions, and other pleadings
Handling written discovery and discovery disputes
Drafting and arguing motions in court
Taking and defending depositions (parties, witnesses, experts)
Editing demand letters produced by paralegals
Assisting with mediation and settlement negotiations
Preparing cases for trial and acting as second chair when appropriate
Communicating directly with clients to provide updates and guidance
Supervising and directing paralegals and legal support staff
Other litigation-related assignments as needed
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active Arizona Bar membership, in good standing
1-5 years of plaintiff's personal injury litigation experience (trial experience desired but not required). Alternatively, 1-3 years of appellate level clerking experience would be acceptable. Candidates without attorney experience will be considered if they have substantial prior experience as an appellate level law clerk.

Client-focused with high professional and ethical standards
