Description

This Finance Manager role will work hand-in-hand with finance and business leaders to model, analyze and forecast revenue for an entire channel as well as expense across the organization. 

This position will manage direct reports and is expected to be a thought-leader amongst other Finance managers.

• Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.
• Be a strategic thought partner with senior leadership, FP&A VP and Director to set strategy and priorities.
• Develop the forecast models for both revenue and expenses into driver based models, linking business levers to forecasting inputs. Develop multi-dimensional modeling for scenario analysis.
• Communicate and interpret financial results and metrics to business partners and the broader finance organization.
• Work cross-functionally to interpret business drivers influencing results. Effectively highlight the true business drivers and their sustainability (isolating from one-time events).
• Provide decision support for future business planning decisions and investments.
• Drive continuous improvement by creating new analysis, innovating on current metrics and reporting. Identify areas for automation to create capacity for analysis and project work.

Requirements

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 5 years of financial planning, reporting and/or analysis experience.
• At least 2 years of experience providing financial advice and counsel to P&L/business owners.
• Experience contributing to strategic decision making and goal setting initiatives.
• Experience leading profit improvement initiatives.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
• Experience developing forecast models.
• Experience working with large data sets.
• Experience with Model Building.
• Familiarity in SAP and Oracle.
