This premier private bank is committed to investing in growth for the region. It is now seeking to recruit a highly capable Head of Business Risk, Director.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to COO and leading a team, you will lead and oversee front office controls including investment suitability, selling processes, trade monitoring and surveillance. You will ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, implement and maintain robust risk management frameworks. As the first line of defence, you will conduct trade monitoring and thematic review and advise on appropriate solutions. You will present to management on business risk findings and appropriate actions taken to safeguard the company's operations and uphold compliance standards. You will act as business liaison with other functions including compliance, front supervisors, and auditors.

Requirements

Degree qualified, you will possess at least 10 - 15 years of experience private banking business risk, internal controls and / or compliance. You will possess strong regulatory knowledge of suitability and selling processes, and experience in dealing with regulatory audits and remediation work. With excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, you are highly credible, analytical, a logical thinker and operate with high integrity.
