In-house legal counsel (technology) opportunity with a leading global company Your new company
An award-winning international organisation is expanding its in-house legal team and seeking a mid-level lawyer with experience in technology contracting and commercial law. This permanent Sydney-based opportunity sits within a collaborative legal function that supports high-impact business solutions across the global network. The role sits within the organisation's Tech team, which consists of 5 lawyers and will report directly to the Head of Tech. The wider commercial team consists of a further 10 lawyers.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on a range of client-facing technology contracting matters
• Draft and negotiate complex agreements including MSAs, licence, reseller, and subcontractor arrangements
• Collaborate with stakeholders across risk, compliance, and senior management
• Contribute to practice innovation and legal process improvement initiatives
• Monitor regulatory changes and shape commercial responses to evolving legal risks
• Be able to work autonomously and lead on high-value matters

The Ideal Candidate

• 4-6 years' PQE, ideally with experience in technology contracting or commercial law
• Ability to deliver practical and clear advice in fast-paced environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and written communication skills
• Experience working within a law firm or in-house commercial legal team
