About our client

Our client is a leading international hospitality group committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences across its diverse hotel portfolio. They are currently seeking a VP of Finance Strategy, Processes & Systems to play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the company's financial strategy, as well as the optimization of financial processes and systems. This leadership position will focus on building scalable, efficient financial structures and driving digital transformation. The role is based in Berlin and / or Munich, Germany. What the job involves

• Taking responsibility for the strategic development of the finance function in close collaboration with the SVP Finance and Group CFO
• Leading the design, implementation, and optimization of company-wide financial processes, including planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, to ensure efficiency and scalability
• Analysing, designing, and managing the company's financial system landscape, including ERP and BI systems, to ensure a future-proof, digital financial architecture
• Initiating and leading finance transformation projects, focusing on process automation, digitalization, and improving efficiency across the financial function
• Developing and enhancing controlling, planning, and management tools to improve corporate governance and business control
• Acting as a key interface between finance, IT, controlling, and operational units to ensure smooth collaboration and the successful implementation of strategic goals
• Building, leading, and developing a qualified team within the finance strategy department, including senior managers and managers

Who we are looking for

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, ideally with a focus on finance or controlling
• Several years of experience in a senior finance role, ideally with a focus on strategy, processes, or system landscapes, or experience in a consulting environment (e.g., CFO practice)
• Extensive knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP and Microsoft Dynamics), Business Intelligence tools, and other digital tools in the financial context
• Proven experience in managing and implementing complex projects, with a strong understanding of financial processes and systems
• Strong strategic thinking combined with exceptional problem-solving and execution skills
• A communicative and assertive personality with leadership experience and the ability to drive change across departments
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English
