Description

My client is a well established local securities firm and currently urgently looking for an account any in their finance department.

They are looking for someone with financial reporting and FRR reporting experience, immediately available is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, perform daily accounting functions including prepare journal entries, payment and bank reconciliation, and assist with month-end/year-end closing in accordance with HKFRS

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports to support business decision-making.

• Handle daily/monthly FRR and other regulatory reporting in accordance with SFC requirements (Type 1 and 2)

• Monitor the company's liquidity capital to ensure that it accomplish the SFC statutory requirements;

• Liaise with auditors and tax authorities on audit and tax issues;

• Liaise with banks for accounts management or fund transfer issues;

Requirements

Education & Professional Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related financial discipline.

• Regulatory Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience focused on SFC FRR reporting within a licensed corporation (must have experience with Type 1, 2 regulated activities).

Skills & Competencies

• Technical Knowledge: Familiar with SFC standards and License 1 and 2, and

deep understanding of Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS)

• Financial Expertise: Proven track record in SFC FRR reporting within a licensed corporation (experience with Type 1, 2 regulated activities)

• Interpersonal Skills: Effectively bilingual (English, Cantonese and Mandarin) with excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
